Two weeks pass, and no call from Tony. Amanda starts to feel like maybe he’s reconsidered and decided she’ll be a vacation memory after all. No big deal. It was fun while it lasted. Then, the phone rings!

Amanda is elated to hear from Tony. He asks her out and they go out to the Greenhouse Restaurant in San Sequioa which is built by the amazing Marmelad. Check out her video down below and then download it to your game.

Tony & Amanda have an amazing date together and go out again on Friday. This time he invites her back to his apartment in San Myshuno, and they spend the night together. Tony’s apartment is a simple studio that is pretty much designed for a modest lifestyle except for an ugly pink porcelain pig that sits in the corner of the room. In the morning, both Tony and Amanda are on cloud nine, as they joke while having breakfast.

It’s then he asks her to go away with him next weekend to Plumbite Pier in Copperdale. Amanda wants to go but she has her daughter that weekend. She advises Tony that she’s trying to be a responsible parent since she’s cancelled twice already. When Tony asks when he could see her next and hears her say that she wants to be “sure about them first,” that’s when he puts it all on the line. He admits his feelings for Amanda. He wants them to be exclusive. He knows he’s not the most handsome or muscular of men. He’s pudgy, a bit of a slob, a glutton when he eats and he’s crazy about her.

This makes Amanda nervous. Amanda is conflicted. On one hand she has very strong feelings for Tony, but she is frightened beyond belief about getting into another relationship. Plus, she has Carrie’s feelings to consider. After how Jack treated Carrie, Amanda is being extremely wary. What if Tony seems all nice and sweet now and later turns into a monster? What then? Worse – what if they fall in love, get married and then she discovers he’s a beast! Does that mean her second divorce?!

Tony reassures her that whatever comes their way they’ll do it together, that he wants more amazing times, and he wants it all with her. Then Amanda’s temper gets the better of her as she bellows, “I can’t!

“Oh…” Tony says, looking towards her with hurt in his eyes. Amanda quickly tries to soften the blow by saying that she likes him a lot, but she’s not ready to take that step. She lets him know that she’s a broken, shattered woman, and can’t allow herself to feel this way. She tells him that she’s the shell of the woman she used to be and doesn’t want complications in her life. This leads Tony to become hurt and full of contempt. Maybe all she wants is a couple of drinks and a couple of woo-hoo, is that it?

When she answers yes to that question – he can’t even stand to look at her. For the first time in over twenty years, he’s dared to admit feelings for another woman, and now she’s rejecting him. Why?

Because he really needs to be alone, he asks Amanda to leave so he can get ready for work. She knows he’s lying but she goes asking, “Call me?” But even as he watches her leave from his upstairs apartment – he thinks to himself that maybe he should forget her, and just move away. So much for falling in love. It’s a heartbreaking moment.

Every time I’ve seen this scene during editing, I always say aloud, “Awe, poor Tony.” It’s one of those moments where you want to give him a hug and tell him it’s going to be okay. But will it?
